HSFX Journal uses a minimal set of cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, marketing tracking pixels, or third-party behavioural analytics cookies.

The Firebase Authentication cookies described above are strictly necessary for the Service to function. Under PECR, strictly necessary cookies do not require your consent, but we must inform you they exist — which is the purpose of this policy.
Because we currently use only essential and functional cookies (no analytics or advertising cookies), we do not display a cookie consent banner. If we introduce non-essential cookies in the future, we will add a consent mechanism before those cookies are set.

Please note that deleting or blocking the Firebase Authentication cookies will sign you out of HSFX Journal and may break sign-in functionality.

In addition to cookies, HSFX Journal uses your browser's local storage to store your authentication session data (via the Firebase SDK). This is a standard web technology that stores data on your device without an expiry date, unless cleared manually or on sign-out.
You can clear local storage data from your browser's developer tools (Application → Local Storage).
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time, particularly if we introduce new features that use additional cookies. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made. For significant changes, we will notify users by email or via a notice on the platform.
